About

WeThinkCode_ is a Software Development Academy that recruits South African Youth from underserved communities and trains them to become software developers. Since its founding in 2016, WeThinkCode_ has graduated 500 alumni with 93% of graduates (465 alumni) placed in full time employment as software developers with leading South African businesses.

Goals

    1. Partner with more TVETs to extend our geographical reach
    2. Downstream our training to high schools
    3. Extend learning online through short courses
    4. Move to a larger Johannesburg campus
